Daily Schedule
8:00a-9:00a: Drop Off and Parkour
9:00a-10:00a: Morning Snack and Free Play
10:00a-12:00p: Preschool
- Sing the good morning song.
- Brainstorm words that start with the letter of the week.
- Flag-Sing The Star Spangled Banner, aka “The Hockey Song.”
- Weather-a preschooler checks and tells the class the weather in English, Spanish, and Sign Language.
- Calendar-a preschooler changes the day and weather, and we go over the month, day, year, and count down the days until the last day of the month.
- Days of the Week-go over the days in English and Spanish incorporating music with shakers, bells, or clickers.
- Months of the Year-go over the months in English and Spanish incorporating music with shakers, bells, or clickers.
- Counting Corner-count up to whatever day of the month it is in English and Spanish.
- Table Time-preschoolers complete the daily curriculum.
12:00p-12:30p: Lunch
12:30p-1:30p: Storytime and Happy Nappy
- Each preschooler picks out a book to be read.
- Preschoolers cozy on their mats.
- Happy Nappy is 25 minutes of rest and reflection.
1:30p-2:45p: Outside Time
- All awake preschoolers head out back, rain or shine, to dig, scoop, and imagine in the giant sand area
2:45p-3:00p: Clean Up and First Pickup
- 3:00pm preschoolers say goodby and head home.
- Remaining preschoolers head inside for afternoon snack.
3:00p-3:45p: Afternoon Snack and Free Play
3:45p-4:00p: Clean Up and Second Pickup
- Clean up and say goodbyes

- Teacher applies sunscreen to each and every preschooler.

- Teacher chooses an art project and sets supplies on the red table for all who would like to participate.

11:30a-12:00p: Lunch
- If out back, teacher helps the preschoolers rinse their hands and feet at the “blueberry sink.”
- Preschoolers change into dry clothes if needed.
- Preschoolers grab their lunches and water bottles and head to the table to eat.
- Teacher helps open lunches and/or food items if needed.
- Teacher eats lunch.
- Everyone goes potty, or at least tries, then washes their hands.
- Teacher helps in the bathroom as needed.
12:00p-1:30p: Storytime and Happy Nappy
- Preschoolers play with legos in the garage until everyone is done with lunch and bathroom.
- Teacher puts out Happy Nappy mats.
- Preschoolers pick out a book.
- Prechoolers get their blanket and pillow and choose an available mat.
- Teacher starts reading books.
- Teacher “cozies in” any preschooler who would like to be “sandwiched” into their blanket.
- 25 min mandatory nap time. All preschoolers must be lying down with sleep being an option.
1:30p-2:45p: Outside Time
- All preschoolers who are awake go to the bathroom.
- Preschoolers grab their water bottles and head out back.
- Teacher applies sunscreen to each and every preschooler.
2:45p-3:00p: Clean Up and First Pickup
- Teacher and preschoolers clean up the sand toys and dump the water from the water table.
- Teacher helps preschoolers hose off at the “blueberry sink.”
- Preschoolers change into dry clothes if needed.
- Preschoolers play legos in the garage while waiting to be picked up.
3:00p-3:45p: Inside Free Play
- All remaining preschoolers go in for free time.
- Preschoolers eat a provided snack.
- Preschoolers go to the bathroom and wash hands.
3:45p-4:00p: Clean Up and Second Pickup
- Preschoolers clean up all the toys.
- Preschoolers head in to the garage to put on shoes and wait to be picked up.
